Over Easter, a group of 20 5th year students and four staff travelled to Jordan with Habitat for Humanity. While there they helped to build houses for two families in Umm Al Yanaba'a, Ajloun. They also visited the Irish Embassy and Jesuit Refugee Services in Amman, and met some Syrian refugees and heard their stories. All 1st, 2nd and 4th year students will take part in the national Drop Everything and Read Challenge tomorrow (April 12) at various times. Students should remember to bring a book or magazine with them to school. They are also welcome to borrow something from the Library early on Friday morning.
