Our annual soccer tournament for First and Second Years, the Loyola Cup, took place yesterday afternoon. Well done to Bohemians, captained by Stephen McMahon, who won the Cup on penalties. Thanks to Mr Kieran for organising and to everyone who helped on the day.
Well done to our gaelic footballers on a a 3-11 to 3-5 win against St Michael's yesterday. That rounds off a short but successful GAA campaign with six wins from six between senior and junior football. ZaGAAbú!
Representatives of the Green Schools Committee attended a ceremony in DCU today at which we were presented with a sixth green flag for the school. The theme of this flag was Global Citizenship - Litter and Waste, and work included a global awareness survey, a nationalities survey and a waste audit. We carried out litter pick ups on the school grounds and sold water bottles and travel mugs to encourage students to avoid single-use plastics. We also continued working on previo
