The Parents’ Council invites you to a talk by Rebecca Murphy, Education and Training Co-ordinator with JIGSAW (formerly Headstrong), National Centre for Youth Mental Health, on Tuesday, November 22nd at 7.30pm in the Coulson Theatre, Gonzaga College SJ.
The topic of the talk is “Supporting our young people’s mental health” and will include the following themes:
Key issues impacting on the mental health of young people
The 5 a day for promoting good mental health
The importance of One Good Adult in the lives of young people
Signs a young person may be struggling
Dos and Don’ts when supporting young people
Looking after our own mental health as parents
