The U16s are on their way to the National Basketball Arena after winning a low-scoring thriller 28-21 against Salesians College, Celbridge, today. Bobby Colbert was the top-scorer with 13 points, ably assisted by Zach Mulligan (6 pts) and Mike Morrissey (4 pts). Our defence was brave and tenacious throughout. Well done to the players and our three outstanding coaches: Myles, Hugh and Patrick. And hard luck to the U19s who had a very good season, making it as far as the semi-final where they were beaten by an impressive Coláiste Ráithín side yesterday. Thanks to Dr Clark for the photos.
