September Roundup

We've had a busy first month back at school, with lots of activity both inside and outside the classroom. Here's just a selection: Third Year Greek students did a Dinosaur Etymology Project (Terrible (δεινος) Lizard (σαυρος)); the Gaelbhratach committee has been busy making plans for the year; First Year Latin students made a family motto display; First Year History students were excavating precious artifacts (chocolate chips) and learning about how archaeologists excavate sites in the process; TY Horticulture students have been harvesting apples which will be made into Walled Garden apple juice; and our U16 Basketball team picked up where they left off last season with a 57-24 victory over St Mary’s College in our first home match in the Gym for nearly four years.
