Last week students from 3B and 3C visited the department of statistics of the Central Bank of Ireland as part of their maths study. The aim of the visit was to talk to a professional statistician and to learn more about how this branch of mathematics is used in the day-to-day professional routine.
Thanks to Mr Cavallaro, Mr McGroggan and Mr Pelly for organising the trip and for the photos. A couple of students spotted their grandfathers featured in the public exhibition.
