Sailing

Sailing is co-ordinated by Mr Fiachra Etchingham & Mr Paul Kieran. We have a number of students who compete in regional, national and international competitions, both individually and as part of a team. The main format in schools sailing is team racing: three boats of two sailors, per team. Gonzaga hosts the annual Shanahan Cup competition between September and March, in conjunction with the INSS in Dun Laoghaire.
