Last night the College competed in the Dublin round of the Irish Applied Mathematics Teachers Association (IAMTA) Senior Quiz.
The college A team of Eoin Cunningham (6B), James Maher (6B) and Kevin Lannon-Walsh (5D) came so close to retaining our Dublin Applied Maths title, only losing out in a tense tie-break to Oatlands College.
The hosts, the Institute of Education, finished in third place. The college team got 22 out of 24 questions correct and will now represent the college in the All-Ireland final later this month.
The college B and C teams also performed really well, finishing 17th and 11th respectively in a very competitive field of 48 teams from across the county.
Now to prepare for the Maths and Applied Maths All-Ireland finals!!
