The college 5th year Geography trip was to Iceland over the break. The students enjoyed the Blue Lagoon once they landed. On day two comprised of visiting Glacial waterfalls, Geysir, and the geothermal power plant. Thingvellir was the last destination of the day where we walked between the North American and Eurasian plates. On day 3 they kicked off with a hike on the Sólheimajökull glacier. We looked at the Black Sand beach and waterfalls on our return to Reykjavík.
Thank you to Ms Denny and Mr Byrne for chaperoning.
