Leinster Schools' Junior Golf Qualifiers

The Junior Golf team represented the College at Greystones GC on Monday 2nd October in the Leinster Schools’ qualifying tournament. Eight players, Robert Sweetman (2B), Jack Conlon (3C), James Lawlor (3B), Michael Nolan (3C), Diarmaid O’Brien (2B), Myles McMahon (2B), Denis Johnston (2A) & Tom Kelly (2A) competed both individually and in teams, in a field of approx. 90 players. Well done to Robert Sweetman (2B) & Jack Conlon (3C) who both finished in the top 20 in the individual competition, and their scores combined gave Gonzaga A team a 6th place finish out of 30 teams.
